We already laced you with the ultimate cheat sheet of this summer's must-see TV series. Now, we're BACK with a movie playbook you didn't know you needed. Oh yes, we love a good movie during the summer months, so we've rounded up a list of films you don't want to miss.

Take note inside...

Summer is approaching and so is movie time!

The last 15+ months have been crazy, to say the least. But, things are slowly getting back to normal as COVID-19 vaccine numbers are on the rise. Cases are declining. Outside is opening up. And that means movie theaters are re-opening for new releases.

Even if you aren't feeling going to an actual movie theater, we have titles that'll be released via streaming/PVOD as well, so there's something for everyone. No worries, we got chu'!

Remember that insane Twitter story shared by a stripper named Zola that went viral in 2015? (If not, click HERE for the deets.) Well it's finally about to released and we'll get to see all of the crazy antics Zola got into with a white chick she had just met during a cross-country road trip.

Peep the trailer below:

Switching fears from x-rated to something for the entire family...

Basketball champion and global icon LeBron James is bringing a sequel to a classic film. King James goes on an epic adventure alongside Tune Bugs Bunny with the animated/live-action event “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” from director Malcolm D. Lee and an innovative film making team including Ryan Coogler and Maverick Carter.

We're totally here for it.

If horror is more your speed...

Oscar winnerJordan Peele is ready to snatch our edges and wiggery with his fresh take on the blood-chilling urban legend that your friend’s older sibling probably told you about at a sleepover: Candyman.

And if laughter is the vibe you're searching for....

Funny people Mike Epps, Katt Williams, Bresha Webb, Lil Duval and several others will bring the laughs in The House Next Door: Meet The Blacks 2. Y'all know they are going to CUT UP.

And for some soulful feels...

Jennifer Hudson is set to put some RESPECT on Aretha Franklin's name.

In case you forgot, Jennifer Hudson was the actress that Aretha Franklin personally tapped to portray her in an upcoming biopic about her life.

RESPECT follows the rise of Aretha Franklin’s career from a child singing in her father’s church’s choir to her international superstardom.

We've rounded up a range of upcoming movies that are set to drop this summer.

Scroll through our gallery below for a hefty list of MUST-SEE movies that'll premiere this summer (if it hasn't already) that will surely keep you entertained.
