Vado is back in the Marriage Bootcamp house...kinda.  We've got an exclusive sneak peek at his apology for Tahiry after snatching her up extra violent-like on a recent episode, but will it get her back?  Watch inside.

It's been a doozy of a "Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Stars" season.  And after an altercation among Tahiry Jose, rapper Vado and some alleged apples, hands were laid and ish got real.

Vado got kicked out the house immediately, but it seems like he's getting a second chance with his alleged girlfriend Tahiry (we're still not totally convinced this is a real relationship but, hell, it's quarantine and we're bying into more B.S. than ever these days just to pass the time).

The rapper busted out a few different bars, this time apology bars, for Tahiry.  But, whether she'll forgive and forget is yet to be seen.  Check it:

Also on tonight's episode, The Boot Campers confront their past & expose shocking childhood traumas, Tahiry struggles with Vado’s return to the house, and when Kurupt reaches a breaking point, Dr. Ish and Judge Toler make a difficult decision. It all goes down tonight (Thursday) at 9p on WEtv.

EXCLUSIVE: 'All American'&'Grown-ish' Star Da'Vinchi Is Fine, Philanthropic & Single! Here’s Everything We Learned About The Hollywood Hottie

You better put Da’Vinchi on your radar! Not only is he a sight for sore eyes, the 22-year-old is wise beyond his years. He’s been through some things, but those experiences taught him valuable lessons that he hopes to pass on to our next generation of leaders. Here’s everything we learned about the uber talented Hollywood hottie inside….

You better get familiar because Da’Vinchi is just getting started!

You may know him as hottie Cash Mooney on "Grown-ish," Darnell Hayes on "All American," his stage name Da'Vinchi, or simply as Abraham D. Juste (the name his mother gave him). Not only is he making a splash in the acting world, he’s also uber popular on TikTok (with 1 million followers and counting) and he just launched his rap career!

TheYBF.com exclusively premiered his fire debut single “Bet On You,” featuring female rapper Jus.Be and it’s a total bop. In fact, Da’Vinchi told us he collaborated with her on the track to provide a beat for the kids to dance to on TikTok. Genius!

”Let’s just put a little dance element to it, make it something positive and we just see what happens,” he told TheYBF.com in an interview.

Yep, the #BETONYOUCHALLENGE is coming soon:

Da’Vinchi is ALL about positivity and inspiring the youth. With more music coming down the pipeline, you will not catch the Hollywood actor rapping about sex, drugs and violence. One thing we learned, Da’Vinchi is about that action when it comes to the kids.

The “Grown-ish” star revealed he adopted an all-boys charter school (grades 4th - 6th) in Washington D.C. to become a mentor in an effort to inspire the young, black, male students. However, he wasn’t exactly prepared to hear what one child told him during his first visit at the school.

”I was just there and I finally got to meet the kids last week,” he told TheYBF.com. “One of the kids said to me because of all the shooting that’s going on, ‘I wish I was white.’ I just had to pull him to the side and tell him despite all of this nonsense going on, we’re still dope as hell. We’re KINGS. Not all of us are getting shot. There’s some of us out there, we’re telling a different story. We’re fighting against it. He was really listening because he’s looking at me like ‘This black kid is on TV and I look like him.’ So, it was just amazing. I mean you can’t change the world, but if I can make a difference in some of the kids’ lives that’s all that really matters.

We’re not crying, you are! It’s heartbreaking to learn that this is how our young, black children are feeling during these times, but we’re thankful there are celebs like Da’Vinchi who take time out of their busy schedules to make an impact on our future because it's important.

Turns out, his upbringing is why he holds children so close to his heart. Growing up in Brooklyn, he said he used to commit crimes because, well, he had no other choice. He became a juvenile delinquent after he was caught with stolen property.

”I only did the crimes because I HAD to. But, I just want them to know you can get out of that,” he explained. “So, that’s kind of what I want to be. I just want to be an inspiration to the youth. Adults – a lot of adults are already stuck in their ways, so if I can get the kids, I feel like that’s really it.”

After the sudden and tragic passing of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, Da’Vinchi really started to ponder what he wanted his legacy to be.

”I want to inspire the kids and try to shift the mindset of our future leaders,” he shared. “I feel like the world promotes a certain way of living that sometimes I don’t think is necessary to constantly bombard the youth with that because you’re programming them a certain way.”

He continued:

”It’s like the world promotes a significant amount of infidelity and wonder why you’re more likely to get divorced than stay married. I mean, look what the media does. It’s like they give us the poison and the medicine at the same time. It’s kind of like they’re pimping us in some way.”

Wise words.

Looking at him, one would think Da’Vinchi has had a plethora of girls/women in his life, but that’s simply not the case. He's only had two girlfriends so far, but there’s a reason for that. Apparently, he had to learn some hard lessons about trusting females too quickly.

”Sometimes I’m gullible,” he revealed. “Majority of my life I spent working and taking things serious. I didn’t really dabble in having girlfriends left and right. I’ve only had two girlfriends and the first one [relationship] was like four-in-a-half years. I never really experienced [having a lot of girls], so it was this naivety that comes with that from lack of experience.”

At first, the “All American” star would open up too soon and start trusting women, thinking everyone is “cool and trust worthy” and then “you just find out they are putting on a character.”

”Sometimes I didn’t realize that some people look at me like I’m this celebrity and I forget that,” he said.

He has learned his lesson now.

”I’m not that gullible anymore, ya know. I learned my lesson quick,” he said.

So, speaking of women, we had to ask…is he single?

”Yes,” he responded.

What about a relationship? Is he open to one?

”I am if it’s the right relationship. I learned that relationships can be two things: They either make you or break you. Unfortunately, our society is not conducive to healthy relationships and I had to realize that.”

”I’m not opposed to it, but my guard’s up. It’s going to be hard as hell for someone to break these walls. I’ve learned from previous situations that were toxic – it [can] mess up your whole work flow and your life up. You catch yourself getting out of character and things like that. But, if I find something I’m not going to just close my mind off. I’m definitely going to take it slow.”

You hear that ladies? But wait! Is he only open to dating celebs or is a regular, 9 to 5 woman on his radar as well?

”Of course! But the thing is, she has to be used to this world,” he said about dating a regular woman. “I realized that a bird and fish could fall in love, but if they do, where would they be?”

Better shoot your shot (carefully) ladies!

Speaking of dating, there have been rumors swirling that his “Grown-ish” co-starsChloe Bailey and Diggy Simmonscould possibly be dating. Of course we had to ask him about it.

”Wow…umm. They said they’re dating? Whoa! Whoa! That’s not my business,” he responded. “If it’s one thing the streets taught me is to shut the hell up.”

Ha! Well, so much for tea.

Being so young in the game, once you reach 18, you start feeling like you’re grown. We wanted to know what his first “grown” purchase was. And we weren’t expecting his response.

”When I turned 18 I played the lottery [laughs]. I don’t smoke, so I didn’t buy like a cigarette or a Black ‘N Mild [cigar] or anything like that. Now with the way my life is, I feel like I’m grown every day. Life has changed. Life is so serious. Dealing with accountants, taxes, etc. It’s just a lot.”

Tell us about it.

So what’s next for the Hollywood hottie? Plenty!

”I’m working on another song right now that I’m really excited about and it has a little Spanish flavor to it. I’m up for this movie right now. I’m also writing another project and I’m working on my own docu-series about the boys that I’ve adopted.”

Sweet!

Fine, funny, philanthropic, talented and intelligent! We’re here for everything Da’Vinchi’s is serving. You should too.

THE YBF PODCAST: Rapper SUKIHANA Gets Real About Hair ‘Down There,’ Why Women SHOULD Make Men Earn Their Spot & Owning Your Sexuality

$

Hate her or love her, SUKIHANA is going to be her authentic, unapologetic self no matter what. And that’s what we LOVE about her. She’s dropping gems for the ladies on not just how to play the game, but how to play the game and WIN...

SUKIHANA has arrived ladies & gentlemen! And she’s here to stay. The rapper/social media sensation/reality star is creating her lane in the culture and folks will just have to deal because sis knows exactly what she wants and how to get it

You saw her make a cameo in Megan Thee Stallion & Cardi B’s “WAP” video and you’ve seen her speak her mind on “Love & Hip Hop: Miami.”

The world knows her as SUKIHANA. Her real fans call her Suki With The Coochie. But The YBF’s Natasha and Tierra got the opportunity to get to know Destiny Henderson– the woman behind the sex symbol you see on social media every day. She’s controversial AF, but we love every bit of it. Sis has a lot to say and doesn’t give a damn who has a problem with it.

The 28-year-old has been on her grind to the top since a teenager. The mom-of-three had her first child at the tender age of 17, but that did not stop her hustle. In fact, it made her go harder. With her baby attached to her hip, she still got out there to make something happen for herself and her family.

One thing Suki has is confidence – an unlimited supply of it!

The Wolf Pu**y rapper tells us a lot of people aren’t used to her level of confidence and sometimes it makes them feel uneasy. Then, they learn to love her. With fans watching how she’s her unapologetic self, that inspires them to want to live in her truth. She says she’s a self-made boss and she got to that level by being herself and doing what makes her happy.

When it comes to having confidence, Suki shares some bomb tips on how women should gain confidence, some tips on how to learn to love your flaws, and why she’s obsessed with her African features.

Suki talks about the controversy surrounding women who demand men take care of them, i.e. City Girls. The Miami rappers said in an interview they would not date a man who won’t/can’t take care of them and it launched fiery debates about women being “gold diggers” and only wanting a man for money. Suki gives us the REAL about a woman demanding certain things from men and why women shouldn’t be afraid to ask for what they need/want. And she drops some GEMS – especially her break down about the difference between a gold digger and a woman who wants a man to take care of her.

Suki brings a lot to the table, so she demands a lot from the man who wants to be in her life. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

When it comes to being liberated, Sukihana is going to secure the bag by any means necessary. Yes, she has an OnlyFans account and YES, she’s making hella money from it. It took some convincing of her boyfriend, Bill, to get on board, but he loves her so much he supports all her endeavors.

Is marriage on the table for Suki? She lets us in on whether or not she would trek down the aisle to say “I Do.” And she also schools the ladies on how to avoid f*ck boys and trash baby daddies. Take notes, ladies.

There was some Twitter drama after she posted a picture of her lady parts (they were covered) on social media and she explains why it blew up the way it did. She also shares her va-jay-jay routine to keep it nice and smooth.

But wait, do men even care about hair “down there?!” Suki has the answer.

Suki is comfortable with sex talk and she’s just as comfortable talking politics and protesting for her people. She’s all about uplifting the black community as kings and queens and is passionate about fighting racial and social injustice.

Suki says she’s definitely a feminist, but she’s not a feminist who hates men. And that’s that on that. She also addresses women who constantly hate and are judgmental of other women. Oh, she heard y’all calling her “ratchet” and she has a response to that as well.

We’re still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and it def has shaken things up in her life. She shares how her life has changed since the pandemic and how it has affected her businesses and her family.

SUKIHANA dropped her new mixtape “Wolf Pu**y” last week (she reveals how she came up with the name) and today she’s hosting a block party (hopefully a safe one) in Lauderhill, FL to turn up.

Congrats!

Get into our chit-chat above.

EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEK: Tamar Braxton Says She Wanted To Be Engaged To David Adefeso, But She Didn’t Want To Marry Him On 'Get Ya Life'

tamarexclusive

Tamar Braxton opens about her engagement to her now-ex fiancé David Adefeso and why she didn’t want to marry him on an upcoming episode of her new reality series “Get Ya Life.” She also dishes on her ex-husband Vince Herbert’s relationship with David…or lack thereof. Catch our exclusive sneak peek inside….

Fans will get a peek into Tamar Braxton’s life behind-the-scenes to see the events that led up to her shocking suicide attempt. In July, the singer was rushed to the hospital when her fiancé David Adefeso found her unresponsive after she allegedly ingested an unknown amount of prescription meds while simultaneously drinking alcohol.

Months after the suicide attempt, all hell broke loose when the Nigerian businessman filed a restraining order against the Bluebird of Happiness singer, accusing her of domestic violence while he was driving her to a mental health facility to get treatment. The accusations came out days before the premiere of Tamar’s new reality show, “Get Ya Life.”

Following his claims, Tamar sources said David was the aggressor and threatened to take Tamar’s life in a murder-suicide. It’s a mess. And now, fans get to see some of the events that led up to the tragic moment Tamar attempted to take her own life. Needless to say the are no longer together.

On Thursday’s episode of Tamar’s new reality series “Get Ya Life,” the “Angels & Demons” singer sits down with her friend/manager Mona Scott-Young to answer some “adult questions” about her relationship with David. Was Tamar ready to walk down the aisle again? Nope. The reason? She shares it all in our sneak peek.

Tamar was also asked about her ex-husband/son’s father Vince Herbert’s relationship with her then-fiancé David…or lack thereof.

Check it:

Chile…

You can see it all play out on a new episode of “Get Ya Life” set to air tomorrow, September 17th at 9pmEST on WEtv. It’ll be doozy.

While Vince hasn’t publicly addressed Tamar & David’s volatile relationship, apparently, he’s letting David know exactly how he feels. In a series of leaked text messages (seemingly after Tamar’s suicide attempt), David asked Vince for an address where he could send Tamar and her son Logan’s belongings.

”Hey Vince, I’m currently spending time with my mom on the spiritual journey she and my pastor brother-in-law and I have been on the past few months,” David allegedly wrote to Vince in a text message. “As I described yesterday and as I’m sure you can relate to, I need to heal and the only way I know to do that is using the spirit and word of God.”

In Vince’s response, he said he only hit him up to “keep the peace” after Tamar told him she had been trying to receive her and Logan’s belongings. Then, Vince went IN.

”It is now safe to say she’s moved on from this vile and abusive relationship and hearing the tape from the other day, I don’t blame her,’ Vince allegedly wrote. “Tamar is getting help. As you know she has been in deep therapy from Dr. V who treats and care for people like Tamar…”

He continued, “Please know that after the stunt you pulled on Saturday you seeing my son is absolutely out of the question. You used a 7-year-old boy and his emotions for your own publicity stunt. Never again will you be alone with him for any reason. You used Tamar’s love and trust for you and manipulated time with Logan to use him for your Instagram and likes…’

”After heating you threaten Tamar’s life, I believe the last thing I would do is give you an address for you to find her. I don’t mind having a police escort to make sure everything is cleared out. The way you packed her things the last time was disrespectful, and it looked like a bunch of trash. She nor Logan deserves that.”

Vince made it clear to David that…he is NOT his friend and never will be.

You can see the alleged screenshots here.

This situation gets uglier by the minute...

In the newest episode of our YBF POLITICS interview series, we get to the bottom of whether VP nominee Kamala Harris'record is as controversial as some are portraying and exactly how Biden's plan for Black America benefits us.  Natasha chops it up with TN State Senator Raumesh Akbari about it all (plus Kanye West).

Can VP nominee Kamala Harris move past her controversial record as Attorney General?  IS it that controversial, really?  Or are we seeing a misinformation and skewed information campaign like 2016 all over again?

Which specific policies in Joe Biden's plan ACTUALLY help black America - the black business owners, parents and more? We also talk about his plan for free community college and extending that to colleges and universities for some, since we know education is one of the barriers to closing the wealth gap.

How DID Kanye West end up getting on the Presidential ballot in Tennessee? And with the help of a member of one of the Democratic royal families?!

We're breaking it all down with one of the people who has actual power to change things that affect your everyday life - a State Senator.

Since folks seem to sleep on state politicians, we've got yet another example of how THEY are the real MVPs when it comes to the mask mandates, Covid policies for you AND your kids (hello, back-to-school rules!), criminal justice reform in the form of restoring voting rights for ex-felons in the state, saving the voting rights of those arrested for protesting and plenty more.

Watch or listen to Natasha chop it up with lawyer, twin and fellow YBF chick, Tennessee State Senator Raumesh Akbari above!

If you haven’t already, you NEED to check out Hulu’s bomb new comedy “WOKE.” It has a bomb cast and the storyline is relevant to what’s going on in society today. Stars Lamorne Morris, Sasheer Zamata & T. Murph gave us the tea.

Hulu's new series "WOKE" is the smart, witty and thought provoking show you NEED to see in 2020. It features a bomb cast of actors, including Lamorne Morris, Sasheer Zamata, T. Murph, Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, Nicole Byer and more!

The dramedy follows Keef Knight (played by Lamorne Morris) – a Black cartoonist in San Francisco who is on the verge of mainstream success. He prides himself on 'keeping it light' and shies away from taking controversial stances. However, everything changes when he gets attacked by a police officer. It’s a comedy about a Black man’s racial awakening that serves as the perfect water cooler conversation that could be had with your friends – black, white, liberal, conservative, and everything in between.

YBF correspondent James Terrell got the chance to chop it up with “WOKE” stars Lamorne Morris, Sasheer Zamata and T. Murph where they talked about the relevancy of the show, working with big names - such as Cedric The Entertainer & Eddie Griffin – why Dave Chappelle is goals and being WOKE.

“It’s surreal. It’s crazy because they say it takes 10 years to become an overnight sensation. August 4th was my 10th year actually just stepping out on faith and doing stand-up comedy. Then you look at September 9, 2020 and I’m starring in a sitcom on Hulu. This is insane!,” T. Murph told TheYBF.com.

WATCH: Tamar Braxton & David Adefeso Fight Over Him & His Family 'Looking Crazy' On Her Reality Show (EXCLUSIVE)

$

Now we have more insight into what possibly went wrong between Tamar Braxton and David Adefeso.  Watch our exclusive clip of their heated argument about how he and his family are being portrayed.

It's been a roller coaster of drama and unfortunate circumstances for Tamar & her now ex David.  Tamar's attempted suicide seemingly shed light on the issues of her relationship that many didn't know about.  Now, we do.

Between "Braxton family sources" claiming in the press that David is controlling, and David filing a restraining order on Tamar for allegedly physically assaulting him while he drove her to a mental health clinic, plus "Tamar sources" alleging the Nigerian businessman threatened to kill her in a “murder-suicide,” it's difficult to nail down exactly what is going on.  What happens behind closed doors should stay there, but if the couple is bringing it to the public, we're going to watch.

On tonight's episode of "Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life," Tamar’s journey to her dream life comes to a dramatic halt when cameras are forced to shut down. That then snowballs into Tamar getting caught in the crossfire between David’s suspicions and her relaunching her career.

Tamar called in her life coach Goli to help navigate things, but Goli became undone apparently because of how Tamar was acting due to David having a problem with Goli being around.  It's a mess.  Producers are stepping in, folks are having crying fits, saying they're "scared," and Tamar makes a producer talk to David because she can't even stand to.  When David expressed how his family is being portrayed, it ended with Tamar saying, "I don't want to hear that sh*t!"

Watch below:

As for Tamar's estranged husband, Vince:

The rift between him and David seems to be coming to a boiling point too.  And David is not feeling Vince being in Tamar's life, or in her house.  Or is it David's house?  That's a whole other point of contention they've been beefing about.

Let's see how this plays out.

The new episode of "Get Ya Life" airs tonight (Thursday, September 24) at 9:00pm ET/CT on WEtv.

And we also know Tamar accused him of a murder-suicide.

On tonight’s episode, David – who is now Tamar’s ex – finally gets the chance to sit down and chop it up with creative coach, Goli. EXCLUSIVE: Savannah Cristina Explains Why Black Men Aren’t Responsible For Protecting Black Women, 'Light Skinned' Privilege & Black Beauty Representation

savannahc1

Savannah Cristina weighs in on the “protection of black women” conversation, sharing what she believes must happen for black women to be protected. She also dissects “light skinned” privilege, and black beauty representation. Get into her thoughts inside…

She’s soulful. She’s beautiful. And she’s definitely woke.

Savannah Cristina is the breath of fresh air we need when it comes to R&B music.

After making her debut on the music scene in 2016, the 23-year-old South Florida native just gave her fans a sonically beautiful EP titled, Self Care. She defines her sound as “soul therapy” and her tracks are all of that and some. On her track "Gold Mine," she samples Adina Howard's hit track "Freak Like Me," which samples "I'd Rather Be with You" by Bootsy Collins' Rubber Band.

Not only is she a skilled singer, she’s also well aware of what’s happening around her right now. The political science graduate (yes, sis is SMART) has her own take on the notion that black men should protect black women. The soulful songstress doesn’t feel black men should be responsible to protect black women. Now, hear her out on WHY she feels this way this before you start being judgmental.

”I don’t know. I don’t really feel like black men are obligated to protect black women,” she tells TheYBF.com.

“I think that we have a system that has to be dismantled. There’s a system set in place and that system has to change. It’s so much bigger than someone just stepping in like, ‘No!’ Now, that is important. You should do that, but I think we put a lot of the blame on each other.”

There's truth to that. But it would be great if both systemic change and protection while that happened could co-exist..

”We’re being distracted from what’s real. It’s a whole system that has to be dismantled and we’re pointing the finger at each other. It’s like when they say, ‘How do y’all expect the police to stop shooting us when we keep shooting each other?’ And it’s like, ‘What does that have to do with anything?’ This question is bigger than that. It’s ‘How do we change the system because the system is messed up.’”

And we can’t disagree with that. Every system currently operating in the United States should be reevaluated, dismantled and rebuilt so that EVERYONE is included. We’re still operating on rules and laws from centuries ago.

Not only are black people given the short end of the stick in society, black women are often overlooked when it comes to beauty standards. A lot of times when “black beauty” is being featured, a light skinned woman is almost always chosen as the representative. Savannah Cristina wants to see more women like Tika Sumpter be the representative of black beauty.

”There has always been a very big issue with representation of black women,” Savannah said. “We know that and we can’t be blind to that. They always pick the light skinned girl. Always. It’s always been that, so I can understand why people are tired of seeing it. All these beautiful black women that you see. Tika Sumpter is a personal favorite for me. Why do we keep giving it to the same people? I totally get it.”

”black-ish” actress Tracee Ellis Ross – who is biracial – received tons of backlash when ELLE magazine put her on the cover of their inaugural “State of Black Beauty” issue. Some people felt a way that the publication chose Tracee has the representative of black beauty. Here’s Savannah Cristina’s take on the issue:

”Was Barack Obama our first black president?,” she asked. “And that’s all I’m going to say. I totally get it. I grew up in a predominately black community. I’m from South Florida. The prom queens, the prettiest girls in school, the girls I wanted to look like and be like - they were all African-American, black women, Caribbean-American, African women, brown skin, darker toned – those are the women around me growing up that I looked at for beauty. I do understand that there are black women who grew up around only white people and they were subjected to having to subscribe to Eurocentric features. And just imagining how typical that was for them.”

She continued, “We all have different life experiences. Everybody’s emotions are valid because we all have different life experiences. If you don’t think a biracial woman is the face of black beauty, then I cannot disagree with you at all, but I want to know, was Barack Obama our first black president?”

Savannah Cristina acknowledged her own “light skinned privilege,” but made it known that she can still speak out on the injustice that’s has been placed on darker toned women.

”Even the way I look, I look like I could be Tracee Ellis Ross’ cousin. I’m somebody who benefits from the same benefits that she’s getting, but I can still say this is something that has been going on for too long. And if you want to talk about the face of black beauty, let’s always make sure it’s diverse. I don’t know the history of this magazine. I don’t know if they always talk about the face of black beauty. But if they never discuss it and the only time they do is somebody who fits their standards, then that’s something that should be reviewed.”

”I’m not pulling anyone’s black card, but you are allowed to say, ‘It’s time for a change and let’s include everybody.’ Everybody’s perspective is valid.”

And how could you be mad at that?

If you haven't already, be sure to stream Savannah Cristina’s “Self Care” EP on all major streaming platforms and catch her soulful vibes.

“Snowfall” is one of the hottest shows on television right now!

Find out what the cast told us about coping with co-creator John Singleton’s sudden death, filming during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how they’re changing the black fatherhood narrative inside…

The fourth season of “Snowfall” is HERE. But it wasn’t easy. Season 4 just kicked off, but there were several hurdles to get over to make it happen.

The series was hit with some obstacles that made it extremely hard to continue. One being the sudden death of co-creator John Singleton.

FX’s “Snowfall” is one of the hottest television series right now. The drama series takes us back to the 80s during the height of the crack epidemic. Season 4 takes us back to 1985 after President Ronald Reagan won his re-election campaign, proclaiming it is “morning again in America,” but in South Central, Los Angeles, it feels more like the sun is getting low.

The demand for crack cocaine is at an all-time high and while the crew of dealers - led by Franklin Saint (played by Damson Idris) - are scooping up bags, they are also starting to become aware of the damage the drug is doing to the people and to their community.

Oscar nominated filmmaker John Singleton– who co-created the hit series – suddenly passed away after a stroke just a few months before the start of Season 3 in 2019.

As expected, the cast and crew were devastated when they learned the news. However, they knew they had to keep pushing through to keep his legacy alive.

”You can't really I can't really put into words,” said actress Angela Lewis – who plays Franklin’s Aunt Louie - during a video press conference. “If you have ever lost a loved one, then you can maybe imagine what it's like to be in a room full of people who have lost. You know, we've all lost the same loved one and there is a tremendous amount of muscle memory that I think is probably the elephant in the room, but then there's also a sense of wanting to help each other push through. There's also the sense of wanting there to be joy in the room and wanting to continue his legacy.”

Actress Michael Hyatt– who plays Cissy Saint - also weighed in:

”I believe in spirit energy completely. I believe in the guidance and power of our ancestors. So you ask how do we behave when John isn't here? John is absolutely here. He is just in a different dimension guiding us and the truth that he implemented in this story in the commitment of this show is what we continue to carry.”

Filming for season 4 was also hit with the COVID-19 pandemic, which opened up a plethora of new challenges to film.

”It’s really important we had a crew that would show up well before we had to go to set,” actor Amin Jospeh– who plays Franklin’s uncle Jerome Saint. “Oftentimes our crew is put in precarious situations. Each person that had to come to set and had to leave their family during this pandemic, it really affected people.

”You weren’t able to bring that to work, whether or not you lost a family member or someone close to you,” he continued. “Whether you lost a close friend or whether you’re worried about someone all the way across the world. We have actors like Damson and Sergio that live in an entirely different country that had to leave their family. We’re gonna look back at this time and really see the sacrifice and the losses.”

We definitely feel where he’s coming from with that. The pandemic literally flipped everyone’s world upside down.

Through it all, the cast was determined to offer up a compelling season because some storylines simply MUST be told. One of those stories is helping to change the narrative of black fatherhood into a more positive light.

”Like so many young men of color grew up in a household without a father anytime that we can find elements of healing in the work it becomes more than a job,” Kevin Carroll – who plays Franklin’s estranged father Alton Saint. “It actually becomes a relationship and it fulfills the part of us as artists, that really attempt to make a difference. So for me, there is no stronger position in the industry than playing a black father, especially one where we see him loving on his son right wrong or indifferent. Loving with his wife right wrong or indifferent and attempting to heal the community. There is no better job in television, I dare you to find one,” he continued.

Check out new episodes of “Snowfall” on Wednesdays at 10pm EST on FX.

One thing is for sure, Waka Flocka is always going to make sure his step-daughter Charlie is good. Charlie’s biological dad was a no-show for one of the biggest nights of her teenage life, so Waka jumped into daddy mode to make the night special. Peep our exclusive sneak peek of "Waka & Tammy: What The Flocka" inside…

Rapper Waka Flocka may not have any biological children, but he certainly deserves to be called a good dad.

Waka and his wife Tammy Rivera do not have any biological children together. When she was 16, Tammy got pregnant and had a daughter named Charlie. Since Tammy has been in a relationship with Waka, he has been the father role in her life. It's easy to see Waka and Charlie’s bond is unbreakable, and he loves her dearly.

In last week’s episode of “Waka & Tammy: What the Flocka,” Charlie revealed her secret during a mother-daughter sex talk: She’s into girls. The teen reality star was terrified to ask Waka if she could bring a girl as her date for her quinceañera, which is a celebration of a girl’s 15th birthday. The “No Hands” rapper wasn’t fazed with the revelation of Charlie’s secret at all.

It was no surprise Waka made sure nothing or no one would ruin her celebration.

Charlie’s father was supposed to attend the quinceañera and participate in a daddy-daughter dance. He didn’t show up, so Waka stepped in and made it magical.

We promise you’ll tear up a bit (or even shed a few tears) watching the heartwarming clip below:

Aww!

You can watch everything leading up Charlie’s quinceañera when a new episode of WE tv’s “Waka & Tammy: What The Flocka” premieres Thursday, March 25th at 9pm EST.

Thursday night’s episode will include a counseling session with Waka and Tammy where she opens up about past infidelity and how it affected her. Tammy said she knew she was in love with the Atlanta rapper when he hurt her “extremely bad” one time and she still prayed that someone would come into his life to pick up where she left off because she was DONE. At least, at that moment.

”Infidelity, lying, disrespect,” she said when asked what was the reason she felt in that moment she had to go.

Tammy then explained how she put plans together to get him BACK and why it didn’t work.

'ENCORE' EXCLUSIVE: Cherish Twins - 'Reality TV Is Crazy, Not Us!' + Who Kiely Says Is Her Win-Win VERZUZ Battle

TheYBF.com got the chance to chop it up with the ladies who starred on "BET Presents: The Encore" and they have plenty to say about the drama in the house, how production edited them and the biggest misconceptions about them. Also, the ladies reveal who they would like to see go head-to-head in a VERZUZ Battle.

Get into our conversation inside...

Reality television is a beast in its own right. And the ladies who starred on "BET Presents: The Encore" learned just how insane it can get.

"BET Presents: The Encore" is a new TV series that chronicles nine former R&B girl-group members & recording artists as they form a supergroup to create an album within 30 days.

The Carlos King-produced reality show stars Cherish twins Fallon & Felisha King, Blaque's Shamari Devoe, 3LW & Cheetah Girls'Kiely Williams, Total's Pamela Long, 702 sisters Irish and LeMisha Grinstead, Nivea, and Danity Kane's Aubrey O'Day.

Right off the bat, there was drama, drama, drama! In the first episode, the ladies learned who they would have to work with to crank out an EP in 30 days and lets just say it didn't take long for the ladies to start assessing one another and sharing their unfiltered opinions.

Cherish twins, Fallon & Felisha, were NOT impressed and they made it known. They went up against several women in the house over creative differences and where very outspoken with their opinions about the other ladies in the house.

Some fans labeled the ladies as "troublemakers," but they blame editing for the way they came off on the show.

During an interview with YBF correspondent James Terrell, the twins opened up about the biggest misconception about them and how production played a huge role in the way they were depicted on the show.

"The whole show was a big misconception of us. We said everything and they showed it. And the way that they showed it, that was out of our control," the twins said.

Kiely agreed with the twins, but she said she already knew what to expect. She didn't come on the show to make friends.

As for Shamari, she said she tried to stay neutral during conflicts because she refused to give in to drama as a "grown 41-year-old woman."

"I just tried to be a person who strives for excellence," she said.

The ladies also shared what they learned from being on the series, who they would like to see go head-to-head in a VERZUZ Battle and more!

Peep their discussion (and who Kiely chose for VERZUZ) below:

'RHOP' EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEK: Wendy Osefo Warns Gizelle Bryant To Stop Repeating Cheating Rumors About Her Husband Eddie, HEAVY On The 'Warns'

Whew.  Zen Wen takes a back seat to Dr. Wendy With The Reads on the next epsode of "Real Housewives of Potomac".  Ish gets very tense when Wendy warned Gizelle Bryant about playing with her husband Eddie's name and those cheating rumors.  We've got an exclusive sneak peek inside.

Wendy Osefo has been zen'd out and snatched all the way up thanks to her full body makeover and new focus on other areas of her life outside of academia.  But apparently, one mention of her husband Eddie in a negative light and chick is right back to reading for filth. And can we really blame her?

On the upcoming episode of "RHOP," Wendy, Karen & Askale have made the journey from the Cottage over to the Estate to have a ponderosa, and things go left quickly.

New-mom-again Ashley Darby arrived to the cast trip in Williamsburg, VA fresh off the delivery room table with some tea.  She tells Wendy that after a convo with Gizelle, she's learned that Eddie Osefo is embroiled in alleged cheating rumors on certain blogs.  Gizelle and other cast members had been speaking low key about whether the rumors had anything to do with Wendy's complete change in attitude and appearance lately.  Gizelle actually asked the girls last episode if Wendy was possibly overcompensating for the rumors - true or not.

Of course, Wendy now wants to have words with Gizelle for bringing up the rumors on camera, and that brings us to the upcoming episode's big blow up.  Wendy INTENSELY warns Gizelle about "coming for her husband's name," and Gizelle couldn't sip her drink any harder.

WATCH: RAICHE Drops The Perfect Housewife Act To 'Burn Your Clothes' In EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PREMIERE + Talks Sade, Soul & Colonialism

TheYBF.com has the exclusive premiere of RAICHE's "Burn your Clothes" video, and we're talking to the R&B rookie about everything from Sade to soul music inspo to her convictions on colonialism.  Watch below!

Every day there's a new face on the music scene.  But not every day does that face come with a sound we actually hit ADD TO PLAYLIST extra quickly.

R&B newcomer RAICHE is proving a twenty-something, Boston-area native can have more soul than a little bit.  And we love to see it.

You might have seen or heard one of her popular covers (like, millions of views) of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Madness” or Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” on Youtube, or caught her opening for Jacquees or Pink $weats on tour or heard her buzz track "Money Pies".  Now, she's working on her own album and dropping her first single (above) from the upcoming project.

Her steamy (literally and figuratively - she's doing the most with that iron!) “Burn Your Clothes” visuals are giving soulful revenge vibes with a touch of Beyonce’s “Why Don’t You Love Me?” video. And RAICHE says she was definitely going for the flipped out 70's Housewife vibe.

"The inspiration for the video was a twist on the 70s traditional housewife breaking out of her perfect character," RAICHE tells TheYBF.com"I love David la Chapelle and want to work with him one day in the future but we pulled from his mind and past shoots he’s done. I relate to him a lot creatively. He’s iconic.

Watch the video above before it drops everywhere tomorrow!

RAICHE also chatted with us more about who she is, and we've gotta say, she's made us fans.  Get into our chat on everything from Sade to soul music to colorism & colonialism to how she defends her vision in this insane world of music.

We love that artists are no longer conforming to a specific box or staying within traditional descriptions of musical genres. The co-mingling of genres is so bomb to us and we love to see it. Describe your sound for us.

"I’d describe my sound as a mix of the retro sound that emerged globally in the 50’s and modern soulful R&B."

Despite touring with Jacquees and Pink $weats and having a song featured in the major Netflix film ("Drive" in Self Made), you’re still relatively a newbie on the music scene. Artists always say it’s harder than ever to breakthrough and be seen and appreciated, especially longer than 15 minutes. What’s the hardest part of continuing to push through such an impossibly fast paced world of entertainment and music? What would you tell other young women who are goal oriented to keep them inspired to keep going?

"I think the hardest part is getting people to understand your vision. But, it’s slowly all coming together very nicely I’d say. And, I would tell other people who are goal orientated to never second guess the process. If you love it and it truly brings you joy. Continue unapologetically. We don’t always understand the roadmap but we have to trust the process."

You describe your upcoming album as her “Coming of Age” project, which is an “exploration of self-discovery, self-love, and self-acceptance.” Talk to us about what self love and self acceptance means to you, especially as a woman of color?

"Self love and self expression is important for every human being. Until we truly know who we are and the things we dislike and the things we love, it's hard to make any genuine impact. With business and relationships, we should feel free to express ourselves (respectfully). There will be people who don’t want to listen or can’t wrap their heads around your logic. But there will also be people who 1000 % hear you and see you and are supportive. Those are your people and that's your tribe."

We read that your musical influences range from Bill Withers to Sade to Nancy Wilson and even Adele. Who first introduced you to the Bills and Nancys and Sades of the music world? Why does R&B and soul music resonate with you?

"My parents listened to Bill Withers and Sade when cooking. And, soul music is what comes from a state of true honesty, from the soul....whether it be love or life circumstances. R&B came out of some serious situations. The roots of r&b run deep and that’s beautiful to me."

We know that one of your dream collaborators is Khalid.  Who would you say an IMMEDIATE yes to a collabo with when it comes to female rappers?

"I would say an immediate yes to Tierra Whack and Erykah Badu. Immediate."

Rapper Saweetie was trending all weekend after a clip from her and rapper Too Short’s IG Live went viral (again). Too Short specifically praised “mixed women” and said some things about black women that many found problematic. It brought to life a new conversation - that also was trending on twitter - about colorism especially in the music industry.

Being of a multi-racial background (mother is French Canadian and father is Cameroon, Scottish, and Native American) in this music industry, much like Saweetie who did speak up in response, what are your feelings on the discussion?

"Being a multiracial woman. This has always been a recurring topic. I think as people of whatever color we all need to respect all cultures. I think at times it gets messy in between. Like for example I know someone who is Native American and they think that it’s inappropriate to teach colonialism at all...period. But, I personally think we should know it all. We should know exactly what happened to the indigenous people on both sides of the story."

The one thing you now appreciate more than ever after lock down and this pandemic?

"The one thing I appreciate now more than ever after this lock down would be my quiet nights, days of self care and completely unplugging from all things technology."

First major purchase when you reach/reached a MAJOR bag?

"My first purchase when I earned a lil bag for myself was a car."

We can beat anybody on the amount of reality tv we unapologetically consume. What’s your guiltiest pleasure?

"My guiltiest pleasure is probably indulging in foods that I’m not supposed to be eating. Like I genuinely get excited if I get McDonalds. And, it’s not often at all. It’s the naughtiest feeling. And then I feel terrible after. Haha!"

Most insane, unexpected celebrity run-in you’ve had (aside from who you toured with LOL).

"I ran into Neyo when I was rehearsing. He was in the rehearsal space next to me. I got so nervous haha...I just kept replaying his song "So Sick" over and over in my head and I didn’t even know what to say to him. My manager had to make the intro. LOL."

The song that BEST describes this past year for you?

"YOU DON'T OWN ME by Lesley Gore. Muah!"

Bresha Webb& Getenesh Berhe - leading ladies on OWN’s new holiday film, Song & Story: Amazing Grace, dishes to TheYBF.com about their new roles and why second chances are important, how late rapper DMX provides daily motivation and KiKi it up about the holiday cooking struggles.

Get into our chat inside…

Just in the time for the holidays, comes an uplifting story of women on the spiritual journeys to emotional triumph. Named after one of the most beloved hymns, Song & Story: Amazing Grace shines a light on the themes of challenge and triumph that ring true in the hymn.

The story centers on Tanner, portrayed by Bresha Webb, a talented artist battling tremendous obstacles who forms an unlikely friendship with Iris, portrayed by Getenesh Berhe, an optimistic store owner who guides Tanner towards the forgiveness of a painful past to unlock the strength she holds within herself. The two women will find out that their paths are intertwined, and a surprising connection is revealed.

And we love a good feel good movie around these parts, especially during this holiday season.

YBF correspondent James Terrell got the chance to chop it up with leading ladies Bresha Webb and Getenesh Berhe about their roles and Bresha revealed what made her decide to take on a role we don't normally see her portray. Her character, Tanner, hit rock bottom and was “living in her circumstances.” Thankfully, Getenesh’s character, Iris, stepped in and gave her “grace and second chances,” which helped Tanner find hope again.

More about the feel vibes in the film below:

As women, there are songs that touch our heart and soul - whether it’s a breakup track that literally hurts every time you hear it or a crunk, Hip Hop song that gets you energized and ready for the day. Bresha and Getenesh shared songs they like to listen to help them get through the day.

Find out how late rapper DMX ties into the mix below:

We’re in the thick of the holiday season and while the ladies love being around their families, it can turn into some hard work…in the kitchen.

The ladies laughed it up with James about their holiday cooking struggles and bonded over how our parents REALLY don’t want us in the kitchen to begin with.

EXCLUSIVE: Bresha Webb Dishes On The Prayer Her Fiancé Nick Jones Jr. Likely Prayed Before She Came Into His Life

The ladies are always grilling Ciara about her“prayer” for Russell Wilson. Well, we flipped the script.

We asked Bresha Webb what her fiancé Nick Jones Jr. prayed for before she came into his life. Find out what she told us inside…

In real life, actress Bresha Webb is living a love story fairytale.

Over 4th of July weekend, Bresha Webb - who stars in OWN’s new holiday film, Song & Story: Amazing Grace - got engaged to TV writer Nick Jones Jr. He got down on one knee and popped the question at Wally's Restaurant in Beverly Hills. The couple fell in love after a whirlwind romance that started during quarantine on Facetime.

“We were both searching for the same thing,” Bresha told ESSENCE. “Real love and genuine connection. We had the same morals and beliefs and understood each other’s needs for one another. I’m still learning and growing. Love happened very quickly. By the time I came out of Canadian quarantine, I was in a whole relationship. I was floating. We dated on FaceTime the entire time I was in Canada and when we finally met in person it was OVA! We were together-together!”

Turns out, comedienne/“The Real” co-host Loni Love played matchmaker! And yes, she was in the mix when he popped the question.

“I asked Nick about Bresha and he was smitten,” Loni Love told Essence. “The one question I asked Nick [first] was: Are you serious? Meaning what was he looking for in a relationship. He told me he wanted to marry, so when I hit up Bresha I didn’t say all that I just asked her if she would want to meet him and to check out his IG (I told Nick to add a few more pics of himself looking finnnnee). The rest is their love story!”

It’s clear Nick knew exactly what he wanted and when he found it, he locked it down. And we love to see it.

It seems folks are always begging Ciara for “the prayer” she prayed before her husband Russell Wilson came into her life. So, we had to ask…what was Nick’s prayer for Bresha?!

”He must have said, you know what God, give me energy. That’s what I am. I am a lot of energy, love and compassion. I think that’s what he was looking for,” she told YBF correspondent James Terrell.

While the twosome are seemingly opposites, Bresha said they balance each other out and she's loving every minute. And we can tell.  Get it sis!

Peep the clip above.

Song & Story: Amazing Grace premieres TONIGHT (December 21st) at 9pm ET/PT on Oprah Winfrey Network: OWN.
